Situated in the heart of the world’s first industrial city, on the site of the oldest surviving passenger railway station, the Science and Industry Museum is a place full of amazing objects and world changing ideas.
Find out how the revolutionary railroad changed Manchester and the world forever. See the museum’s collection of historic textile machinery brought to life in thunderous daily demonstrations. Be inspired by the wonder of science and enjoy interactive science shows, special events, changing exhibitions and lots more.
Take the Metrolink to Deansgate. After exiting the station at the rear exit, head right towards until you reach a large junction where you turn left and walk straight down Liverpool Road. The Museum is on the right side of the road.
